Litigation technology firm contributes a portion of revenue to support the efforts of the Pennsylvania Innocence Project.
PHILADELPHIA, PA – May 2, 2017: Precise, Inc., a trusted provider of litigation technology services, recently presented a donation to the Pennsylvania Innocence Project. The gift fulfilled the pledge Precise, Inc., made last year to donate a portion of its 2016 revenue arising from services provided to members of the Pennsylvania Innocence Project.

Scher, president of the Pennsylvania Innocence Project’s Board of Directors and shareholder in the Philadelphia office of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC, where he specializes in complex litigation. “Both assist us in our continuing mission to exonerate those convicted of crimes they did not commit and to prevent innocent people from being convicted.”
Founded in 2008, the Pennsylvania Innocence Project receives over 500 letters each year requesting help, and after an extensive screening and investigation process, represents over two-dozen convicted people seeking relief from wrongful imprisonment in state courts throughout Pennsylvania. These efforts have brought about the exoneration of individuals whose combined incarceration exceeds 67 years, addressing the critical issues of wrongful convictions in the Pennsylvania Criminal Justice System as well as the United States’ system. The Project subsists largely through grants and donations from individuals and businesses like Precise, Inc.
“We’ve provided pro-bono technology services to the Pennsylvania Innocence Project for a couple of years. Through these efforts, we’ve gotten a closer look at the organization’s tireless efforts to seek justice for the wrongfully convicted, and we wanted to do more to help,” says Paul L.
